TEKTONISK UK REBRANDS AS SHARECAT |

Name change designed to reinforce ShareCat flagship solution.
Tektonisk has changed its UK trading name to ShareCat Solutions Limited. The change reflects the company’s flagship ShareCat solution, which has been designed to improve procurement processes by up to 90%, cut inventory costs by 20% and speed time to first oil by increasing the quality and accuracy of the supply chain information that is handed over to plant operations and maintenance. “This UK move is part of Tektonisk’s global re-branding of ShareCat – a technology that meets the needs of an industry looking to increase its performance and profitability” says Tektonisk AS managing director Dag Pettersen. With operational centres in Aberdeen and London the new UK organisation, ShareCat Solutions Ltd combines the resources of Tektonisk (UK) Ltd with those of OILCATS (Oilfield Cataloguing Services Ltd) which was acquired by Tektonisk in October 2007 to expand the company’s offer and enhance its ability to optimise plant asset performance. OILCATS’ strength in parts information management solutions and its experience of inventory management, materials analysis and data cleansing for oil and gas industry users complements ShareCat’s equipment information knowledge. |
